SITE CONDITION

Site situation: The site unfolds as a two-story space where designers hold the responsibility of curating a versatile environment tailored to house workspaces for two. The focus remains on preserving the lower floor's established layout, while the spotlight shines brightly on the customizable upper level. Within this context, the project celebrates imaginative design within the lower floor's framework, fostering the freedom to introduce innovative and functional concepts in the upper level's blueprint. This includes implementing safety measures like railings, walls, or doors along open edges and potentially expanding the floor area within structural limits. The design journey involves meticulously crafting custom furniture and elements that seamlessly merge with the chosen theme while meeting rigorous ergonomic standards.
Chosen theme: The theme of this project stems from an extension of a practice assignment theme, where I was required to design an opening for a specified space according to the chosen theme (the secret cave of pleasure) to reflect my understanding of the theme.
WEAVING CONCEPT INTO INTERIOR SPACE ( THE SECRET CAVE OF PLEASURE)
Concept: "The Secret Cave of Pleasures" is, for me, a space that holds secrets known only to me. Within this space, I can quietly contemplate, and the interplay of light and shadow makes the space intriguing.

Statement of intent: The concept of this project is an extension of the "The Secret Cave of Pleasure." I aim to create a workspace by designing furniture that incorporates a secret garden, a meditation area, and a resting space.
